Donna Jensen
Donna
Jensen is a native Colorado artist who
enjoys and aspires to the simple things
in life. She came to the conclusion that
no where is she happier than living in
the beauty of God’s mountains, and
using this as the backdrop and inspiration
for much of her artwork.
Her art is a testament to the blessings
of living in Woodland Park, Colorado with
her husband, 2 children and pound puppy,
Lexie.
From her humble beginnings of painting
dogs and cats on her bedroom walls at
age 3 to designing church nursery walls
and being commissioned for local Hospital
Murals, Donna has always had a fun, heartwarming
style of art that young and old alike
just can’t seem to get enough of!
Donna is best known for her Woodland themes,
black bears, cats, dogs, snowmen, Santa’s,
floras and antiques.
Because of Donna’s passion for nature
and wildlife, she has donated art to the
Ducks Unlimited organization and many
of her pieces are dedicated to preserving
and protecting National Parks and Reserves.
Her other equally important joys in life
are spending valuable time with her family,
hiking, bird watching , and her favorite
silly secret passion is listening to Christmas
music…all year long.
Donna is currently in her eighth year
of owing an operating her own line of
stationery and cards called “Posies
and Such” where she sells to thousands
of stores, resorts, lodges, flower shops
and museums across the United States and
Canada. She prides herself on being a
“Made in the US” company.
Donna’s arts can also be found on
fine linens, coasters, flags, signs, pillows,
clothing, rugs, tapestries, cutting boards,
trivets and much more through excellent
companies that license her artwork.
