M.K. Zeppa

Since 1989, Zeppa Studios has been creating unique animal themed giftware and accessories featuring original artwork by studio founder, M. K. Zeppa.

M. K., (short for Melissa Kaye) a dog and horse fancier since birth, graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Honors from Wellesley College and holds an MFA from Pratt Institute. Starting Zeppa Studios was the perfect way to blend animals, art and a career.

When she's not working, M. K. can be found on a horse or training her Labradors, Gator, his son, Snake and NEW arrival, Gator's grandson Hawk (Snake's nephew).

Throughout the year, Gator, Snake and Hawk Zeppa, the Studio "Lab" assistants, make donations to various animal rescue groups and other like minded organizations.  They send free Zeppa products to be auctioned off, used in raffles or resold so the groups can raise badly needed money for food, vet bills, blankets, etc.  They have listed some groups below so you can help, if you would like.

The "Boyz" say, "Homeless is a four letter word!"  Labradors aren't known for their spelling...but...then again maybe they are right!
